Dr. Jimmy Vo has been providing quality eye care at Washington Eye Doctors since 2025, with a professional focus on pediatrics, strabismus and amblyopia, double vision, contact lenses, and myopia control. Before joining our team, Dr. Vo studied at the University of South Florida, where he graduated with highest honors, earning a major in Chemistry and a minor in Biomedical Physics. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale.
During his training, Dr. Vo gained hands-on clinical experience across a range of specialties, including pediatrics and primary care at a private practice, ophthalmology at Aker Kasten Eye Center in Boca Raton, and comprehensive eye care through Nova Southeastern Health. He then completed a residency in Primary Care with an emphasis in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at Nova Southeastern, with advanced education in double vision management, pediatric eye diseases, myopia control, sports vision, concussions, and traumatic brain injuries.

Dr. Vo brings warmth, curiosity, and a personalized approach to every appointment — especially when working with kids and families. Outside the exam room, he enjoys stargazing, hiking local parks, and learning new instruments like the guitar and bass. He’s also an avid foodie and loves exploring new restaurants across the DMV area. Dr. Vo gives back to the community by volunteering at vision screenings and church-run charity events.
