Hybrid Lenses Banner 1266x200

We are the oldest and most modern contact lens practice in the metropolitan Washington, DC White House area. We fit every type of contact lens.

Our enormous inventory enables us to fit over 90% of our patients on the first visit, and we often do clinical trials on contact lenses before they are available to most eyecare providers.

We offer a wide selection of contact lenses including disposable soft contact, bifocal/multifocal, toric, colored lenses and sclerals. Whether you wear daily, weekly or monthly disposables, or conventional (vial) lenses, check out our selection of lenses that fit your needs.

A good contact lens fit starts with a thorough eye exam to ensure the most up-to-date prescription and rule out any  pre-existing conditions that could interfere with contact lens wear.

We will determine the best fitting lens based on your lifestyle needs, the shape and health of your eye. In most cases, you'll have the opportunity to try lenses on the same day as your exam. You can even go home with a few samples before making a final decision.

We follow up the initial fitting and then make any necessary changes in fit or materials to get you the best possible fit. We teach all our patients proper contact lens care and also possible consequences if proper care is not taken. Then we continue with long-term follow-up to monitor the condition of the lenses and to ensure that proper hygiene is being maintained.

We particularly like to push daily disposable contact lenses with our Washington, DC patients. There is nothing cleaner and more comfortable than putting on a fresh pair of contact lenses every day. It also helps our patients avoid the hassle of losing lenses or handling contact solution. Of course, you can expect little to no irritation in the eyes as these contact lenses are always nice and clean. In recent years, they have become much more affordable.

Another popular solution is the scleral contact lens. Almost anyone who would prefer to have the clearest and sharpest vision possible with a contact lens is a suitable candidate. They are especially advantageous for people with irregular corneas or irregularly shaped eyes, and dry eye syndrome. Due to the design of scleral lenses vaulting over the cornea and resting only on the less sensitive sclera, these contact lenses are much more comfortable for people with keratoconus.
