A Virginia native, Dr. Brooke Justis is proud to serve the Washington, D.C., region as an optometrist at both of our Washington Eye Doctors locations. After graduating magna cum laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in biotechnology, Dr. Justis was inspired to pursue a career in eye care. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry — Salus University, where she was an Accelerated Scholar’s Student.

Dr. Justis went on to complete her clinical training with honors by working alongside respected providers across the country. This included her time in Alaska at the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation, where she managed ocular diseases and provided primary eye care for area patients in need. Before joining Washington Eye Doctors, she also gained valuable experience in children’s eye care, contact lenses, neuro-ophthalmic disease, and ocular disease — with a specialty in glaucoma.

As a long time patient of this practice I have always found the doctors and staff quick to help and respond to inquiries and patient needs. Great service all the way around, from the receptionist, to Avis R (technician), Dr. Steven Abraham, and to the eye glass/prescription technician, made me feel comfortable and important. Avis was great, she has been in the practice for more than 30 years!!! Thank you to everyone at Washington Eye Doctors!
