Dr. Steven Abraham has been providing quality eye care at Washington Eye Doctors since 2020, with a professional focus on contact lenses, ocular disease, and surgical co-management. Before joining our practice, Dr. Abraham completed his early college education at Queen’s University in Ontario and graduated with honors.

He then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. Dr. Abraham gained valuable clinical experience at the Brockton Veterans Affairs Hospital; completing a rotation with the New England Eye Institute serving specialty populations; and practicing at an ophthalmology clinic at the Eye Centers of South Florida in Miami.

Dr. Abraham’s friendly approach allows him to provide world-class, personalized care to his patients, starting by getting to know them on a deeper level. When he’s not helping them see clearly, he enjoys staying active by cycling, hiking, or running through his favorite parks, including Shenandoah and Rock Creek. He also loves to travel and dine at some of his favorite restaurants in D.C.!

As a long time patient of this practice I have always found the doctors and staff quick to help and respond to inquiries and patient needs. Great service all the way around, from the receptionist, to Avis R (technician), Dr. Steven Abraham, and to the eye glass/prescription technician, made me feel comfortable and important.
