What is LipiFlow^®?

One of the most common causes of dry eye disease is meibomian gland dysfunction – when eyelid glands that produce oil become clogged. This starves your tears of oil and makes them evaporate much faster. The FDA Approved LipiFlow^® Thermal Pulsation System utilizes therapeutic heat, paired with light pressure, to gently massage the inner lid and release blocked glands. Once oil production is restored, the lipid layer is replenished, for tears that don’t evaporate and soothed eyes.

Great service all the way around, from the receptionist, to Avis R (technician), Dr. Steven Abraham, and to the eye glass/prescription technician, made me feel comfortable and important.
